Privacy policy

1. Who processes the data

Operator: the owner of getownagent.com (the OwnAgent service). For any question about your data, write to aka.alius@gmail.com or on Telegram @pasee2.

2. What data we receive

From the request form:

• contact: your Telegram handle or e-mail, so we can reply;
• plan: the plan you picked;
• server: whether you already have a server;
• goal: what the agent is for, if you wrote it;
• page: the language of the page the request came from;
• consent: your consent to this policy.

We do not collect passport data, addresses or card details on the site. Please do not put passwords or access keys into the form.

Technical analytics data: IP address, device and browser type, where you came from, which pages you viewed and what you did on them (clicks, scrolling, cursor movement), cookie identifiers.

If you write to us on Telegram or by e-mail, we receive what you sent and the profile data visible there.

3. Why

• to reply to your request, discuss the task and provide the installation service;
• to understand how people use the site and where they come from, so we can improve it and measure advertising.

We do not sell data from requests.

Legal basis for processing a request: your consent, given with the checkbox in the form. Analytics counters start when you open the site; section 7 explains how to turn them off.

4. Where the data is processed

• Formspree (USA): receives the form and forwards the request to our e-mail. Stores the request and technical submission data such as IP address and time.
• Gmail (Google, USA) and Telegram: where requests and your messages arrive.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google, USA): visit statistics.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft, USA): click maps and session recordings.
• Yandex Metrica with Webvisor (Yandex, Russia): visit statistics and session recordings.
• GitHub Pages (GitHub, USA): site hosting, receives IP address and technical request data.
• Google Fonts and unpkg.com: fonts and icons load from here, and these services see your IP address.

Cross-border transfer. Most of these services are located outside your country, mainly in the USA, so data is transferred abroad. By sending a request with the consent box checked, you agree to this as well.

5. How long we keep it

Requests are kept while we discuss and provide the service, plus a reasonable period afterwards to answer questions about the install. If no agreement followed, we delete the request no later than 1 year after receiving it.

Analytics data is kept for the periods set by the services themselves, as stated in their privacy policies.

6. Your rights

You can find out what data of yours we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent. Write to aka.alius@gmail.com, preferably from the contact you gave in the request, so we can tell it is you. Once you withdraw consent, we delete your request.

If you believe we are violating your rights, you can contact your data protection authority.

7. Cookies and how to turn them off

The site itself stores only your language choice in your browser (in localStorage). Analytics counters set their own cookies:

• Google Analytics: _ga, _ga_*;
• Microsoft Clarity: _clck, _clsk and others;
• Yandex Metrica: _ym_uid, _ym_d and others starting with _ym.

To turn them off: delete and block cookies for getownagent.com in your browser settings (the privacy section in Chrome, Safari or Firefox), open the site in a private window, or use a tracker blocker. Google Analytics has an official opt-out extension, and Yandex Metrica has a blocker.

8. Changes

If the policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the version date at the top.
